Kyanite, Hematite and Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a truly unique piece in both design and materials. Chosen to be included in this piece are:

- Various sizes of Kyanite. The word Kyanite comes from a Greek word meaning blue and what a rich color of blue it has. The Kyanite I have used is faceted which is extremely difficult to do given it has 2 hardness points. One would be considered along the grain like a piece of wood that is a 7, however going the other way it is only 5.5 making it extremely hard not to chip or crack when faceting.

-Although Kyanite is the primary material I have also added faceted silver Hematite

- The whole thing is with Sterling Silver rounds.

-I closed this necklace with a deep blue Swarovski Crystal Square box and tab closure.
