Natural Vintage Alexandrite and Sterling Silver Ring

The simple design of this ring makes the Faceted (N) Vintage Alexandrite (4.05ct) gemstone all the more noticeable. As you can see in the pictures, the facets catch the colors of the stone so that it shimmers as if from within. The stone is set in a high set, but not ornamented, oval that is ringed by three more simple ovals at the base for detail. The Sterling Silver in this ring (4.012g of it) was used to highlight the stone, not itself. Up to and including the smooth backing allowing for comfortable all day wear.
